Costa Rica Arenal Volcano TIPS

NOT visiting the Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna Costa Rica is like going to Disneyland and not getting a picture with Mickey Mouse (okay, bad analogy, but you get the point). Hey Guys, the Arenal Volcano is a must see when visiting Costa Rica. Although it's true, it's often 'clouded over', when it is OUT, the Arenal Volcano is site to behold. I never tire of watching the volcano with its never-ending combination of cloud coverage, mist, fog, sunshine and shadowing, creating a unique viewing experience each and every time. It's inspiring to say the least- so MAGNIFICENT. This video has some REALLY NICE shots and video footage of the volcano you don't want to miss. It should be said, the Arenal Volcano is pretty much ALWAYS active, but in recent months, it's been even more so, making this a GREAT time to visit. So, if you're thinking about visiting Costa Rica, you may want to add La Fortuna to your itinerary if you haven't already, because after watching this, you will anyway.... EnJOy!

I know this info might be easy to find elsewhere, but I just wondered what your experience of Arenal volcano has been in January/February? i think i might have seen you mention before that the weather may prevent you being able to see the top of the volcano?

what an amazing town la fortuna is!!! It would be awesome to wake up, look out the window, to see the volcano every day....hopefully my wife and I will get to retire there some day...thanks again guys....

this is a nice place, waterfalls, the volcano, the weather is perfect, a huge lake, fishing, rivers and of course the famous hot springs everywhere.... i've been there like 12 times.
