The French Macaron video will follow, but here's a video on how to make chocolate ganache for the filling. IT'S AMAZINGLY EASY.

1/2 cup heavy cream
3 1/2 oz DARK chocolate
1 tbsp butter.

Bring heavy cream to a boil, and pour over chopped chocolate in a heat safe bowl, add butter to melted chocolate mixture and whisk until melted. Let mixture cool and use to frost cookies (or anything else you might be using ganache for)

  • Hey - Just thought I would share a good tip for your ganche. Never use a whisk to combine - it adds too much air to the mix. Instead use a spatula stirring from middle of the bowl out. I was told this by a French pastry chef - and I figured he would know being French and all...Enjoy! (Seriously how good are they???)

  • what's the butter for? usually ganache recipe consists of just heavy cream and chocolates.
