The French Macaron video will follow, but here's a video on how to make chocolate ganache for the filling. IT'S AMAZINGLY EASY.
1/2 cup heavy cream
3 1/2 oz DARK chocolate
1 tbsp butter.
Bring heavy cream to a boil, and pour over chopped chocolate in a heat safe bowl, add butter to melted chocolate mixture and whisk until melted. Let mixture cool and use to frost cookies (or anything else you might be using ganache for)

Hey - Just thought I would share a good tip for your ganche. Never use a whisk to combine - it adds too much air to the mix. Instead use a spatula stirring from middle of the bowl out. I was told this by a French pastry chef - and I figured he would know being French and all...Enjoy! (Seriously how good are they???)

what's the butter for? usually ganache recipe consists of just heavy cream and chocolates.
