Got the screws today from AudioTechnica as promised. Just wanted to let everyone know that their support was really working :)

It should just go all the way trough. Maybe try using two screwdrivers to apply some more force? If this doesn't work you can use other bolts and nuts with the same diameter and length.

@Th4R4 it absolutely doesn't fit, tried hundreds of ways. and there's only 2 ways I guess a nut can go on to a bolt :)
Anyway, I contacted AT and they should send me new screws. In the meantime I'm using some thorens screw pack that I bought from eBay. Works good.
