@kidkappa04 2 Mazdas, Sorry
-
@kidkappa04 Once again, some of their top selling vehicles so more goes into them than other models. We have 3 Mazdas and a ford and it can be just because Mazda, on average, costs a tad more then chevy but it shouldn't be that big of a difference. And the ford (Escape) has better feeling materials also and Fords are the same prices as Chevy. I'm not down Chevy I'm just saying they use crappy materials. Your taking this to heart like you're the GM CEO or something
-
@kjwade I told I drive 2 new Chevys. Neither use cheap materials.
-
@kidkappa04 They are great but that doesnt take away from the fact that they use the same cheap materials. Go get in one and feel around then get in and you will see what Im talking about
-
@kjwade Those companies use more garbage then anyone. You're full of it man. The new Chevrolets are great cars.
-
@kidkappa04 The Malibu starts at 20k. I expect them to use some decent materals. If you think that just something we should expect buying a new car then u just must not really care. Get into a 17k ford, mazda, dodge or even kia and you will see what 17k will buy you today. Chevy today has crappy quality and thats the end of this conversation
-
@kjwade the malibu's a $17K dollar car. wtf do you expect. the material's are the same from any car in that price range.
-
@kidkappa04 Those are both flagship GM vehicles they put more into their more popular cars then other models. And something can be low quality and still last long. I was talking about the quality not the reliability. I rented a 2009 Chevy Malibu for about 3 months while the military shipped my car. I did not have it long enough to comment on the reliability of the car. But I do know its full of cheap, low quality materials. That is all I said.
-
@kjwade I have a Camaro & a Silverado both for 9 months with no problem. I drive both regularly with my truck going through absolute hell daily. they're great vehicles. you don't know what you're talking about.
-
@kidkappa04 it is the same gm. their cutting corners BIG time. When ur not "just getting into one" and you had one of the "new gms" for a little while you would know its the same low quality. Their just hiding it better. @Metaview7 is right. But I wouldnt knock this car before I got into it and saw for myself because I do like the way this thing looks
There not comparing the GMC to a Mini there comparing the fuel economy of both which is the same on both cars, people who are in the market for a Mini Cooper will probably never buy a GMC Terrain instead of the Mini but people who need space and are really concern about fuel economy, will see this and will be like "oh if I can get the same fuel economy as a smaller car but with far more space, I'll take that" I think GM's new advertising campaing it's really good.

I don't understand why people are calling it an ugly car- It is beefy looking, very masculine. It obviously is not the slender-sleek, more "family-looking" car, but dammit, as family men it would HELP to at least have an option other than just mini-van or wagon, or round oval-shaped "soccer-mom" kid-mobiles. It's not all about the ego, but it helps a LITTLE to have a family car without letting go of that edge, ya know?
