Expressional Communication - Abstract Animation using Flash

An Experimental Animation made for my BTEC Foundation Diploma in Art and Design Final Major Project using Adobe Flash CS5.5. This piece was created using shapes, colours, movements, gesture and sound to express various emotions to the viewer.

The inspiration for my final piece came from researching such animation artists such as Hans Richter, Harry Smith, Norman McLaren, Walter Ruttman, Len lye and Michel Gagne.

This final piece was influenced by a quote i stumbled upon by Gnarls Barkely: "You are the best. You are the worst. You are average. Your love is a part of you. You try to give it away because you cannot bear its radiance, but you cannot separate it from yourself. To understand your fellow humans, you must understand why you give them your love. You must realize that hate is but a crime-ridden subdivision of love. You must reclaim what you never lost.
