Are those dog food bowls??? LOL... And the magnets on the bottom of the axel are in a circular arrangement around a solid magnetic ball below?

for real test you have to line up the fan to the middle and not to the side with the open surface

I really like this design. Your results with the deployment of just three bowl "blade" assemblies really helps to see the use of frictionless "floating" axle to provide rotational work. Now, what would happen if you were to double the number of bowl blades?
Also what are the types, and dimensions of your magnets you are using?
Thanks.

Wow, Great video.
Will you take a look at my list of DIY courses at IMECOFARM com.
We have a 3 day build a wind turbine course ! Thanks Eddie

the rim makes a big difference because it not only produces drag on the push side but if u look at the return or drag side you are creating about 20% drag area that doesn't have to be there. also the fan is only blowing on the push side. if you were to direct it at the return or drag side also like a realworld scenario it might turn the other way because of all the drag
I don't get it. The real "friction" in a wind turbine isn't the bearing, it's the electrical load impossed on the PMA?! Why not just have a SOLID, strong bearing, capable of withstanding larger torque, a bigger PMA, and bigger blades/wings... in other words, save your "magnet money" for the PMA, not the bearing.... ???

so how are you going to make a frictionless connection to the generator?
