The IRS gets that info at the end of the year, the FTC can figure it out for themselves. What if you were also using Google's ad share and were getting pain for that too, do you have to disclose how much you earn as the payments are reccuring or is it an estimate? I don't see the point about it either, just more legislation or rules for you to comply with and then people will sue and it will hopefully go away.

I agree that you shouldn't have to disclose how much you were paid. However, I believe it's right to say WHETHER you've been paid or not. It's the difference between someone just sharing their opinion and someone posting an advertisement. The viewer has a right to know that the opinion is one of someone in contract with the company. But how much they were paid is no one's business.
