He's missed more than 9000 shots in his career yet shot 50% for his career which is outstanding for a shooting guard. He's lost almost 300 games but that is excellent given he played over 1000 games in his career. He's missed 26 game-winning shots but he's made 25. That's almost 50% which is way better than any other player. These aren't failures, he's just mentioning half of some of his great statistics.
