Automata (Page One)

The guys at Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com) made this great comic called "Automata". The artwork and story really inspired me, so I wrote a soundtrack specifically for it. Being called creative is a great compliment, thank you. When the first comic came out, I was literally chasing what I was hearing in my head and trying to catch before it disappeared. I got most of it and found some more for this video, thanks for watching and commenting!

Great work, and I agree, Automata is a great stand-alone idea. Gabe's artwork is awesome on it, and I hope he doesn't ever outsource it like he did with Lookouts. I liked that idea much more when it was Gabe drawing it.

I thought automata was the best idea out of the choices they presented that time, and was surprised Lookouts was picked.. I think it was because it was first. Automata almost reminds me of something Alan Moore would write. It'd be a great graphic novel.  I'd buy it .

Not a bad interpretation...choice of music was excellent too, especially when the Automata name appears. I voted for this one cause I always like Gabe's greyscale comics...plus Detective Noir is always a winner =)

Quite excellent! Beautiful, and, in my opinion, fits the setting of automata perfectly.

In fact, it makes me wish for a movie.

The last frame is especially chilling; really well done. Good choice on the overtone blur effect for the end title.

Interesting! Particularly around 1:53, the music manages to be both gritty and uplifting simultaneously. That is a hard feet to pull off!
