i think this show was on of a kind. i love the relationships between the guy who played ANGEL, and Noah Beery who played his father. The capt of the police force whom theyd irritate every now and then also was fun to watch. All of them were like one big family and we could feel the warmth each one had for each other on the show. that is fantastic.!

BEAUTIFUL...BEAUTIFUL...BEAUTI
FUL...I CAN'T SAY IT ENOUGH !!!! -
Gretchen Corbett---One of Universal TV's ubiquitous contract players; she appeared on a multitude of Marcus Welby episodes.
Those of you who would like to see a Gretchen Corbett TV marathon, raise your hand.

Seeing them again via the benefit of Netflix has evinced that this was one of the great character sparks associated with The Rockford Files... good to see I am not alone in my appreciation of this romantic nostalgia; thank you

@orrfhan You're so right. Remakes never do well and nobody ever will replace the original star's chemistry and charm.
Back in 1976 I worked for a company that did aerial filming for TV and comercials, and I had to pick up the paychecks at Universal. A man was standing next to a microwave, heating lunch. It was James Garner. I said mand that smells like some good spaghetti, he replied back "Smells like some evan better Chili" he asked me if I'd like some and that theres plenty for two, and that he made it himself. I thanked and said no, but I'd sure like the recipe. I still have it today. Thanks Mr Garner, RIP!

@beaver5560 Wow!! That's a great anecdote. Must have felt awesome to meet him. One thing though...James Garner is still alive!! And he actually just came out with his memoir called...appropriately enough...The Garner Files

Love Beth and Jim. What a precious TV show. You know, you feel them so close to you..like friends, like family. To tell you the truth, I consider myself addicted to The Rockford Files. I wish I could go back to the seventies.....

@tremayne3 I agree...what a great show it was. Nothing comparable to it on TV these days. I hear they are doing a Rockford Files reboot...I wish they wouldn't as you can't remake perfection.

Kissing Beth could lead to complications, not kissing Beth is unthinkable. Great upload from you.

@planetrockford Totally agree...being involved with your lawyer could be nothing but trouble!! But it was still great seeing some nice moments between them. Loved Beth's vulnerability and the way she looked at him. Thanks for the nice comment
