The scary part is coming down right into Charlie's path! Luckily it was at fairly slow speed and the Bimmers have such a low center of gravity.
Hard to say why he broke: Could've been a deeper rut in the turn that we couldn't see on the camera, or just a good old fashioned flinch. He either broke on the front wheel way hard, or was too heavy on the rear brake while nosing the front wheel out. Either one will spill the bike that way. Glad he was ok!
Obviously irrelevant compared to the accident, but that doesn't even look like Ewan from that front angle. It's all the dirt making shadows on his face. Looks totally different. Anyone else notice that?
I dont htink he touched the front brake! Why would he brake. he is moving pretty slow.(thank god) Someone said it was the rear tyre was infact a road tyre?? Then yeah that makes sense.
It wasn't that KTM didn't think the boys would make it, they didn't think their bikes would make it! So obvious. They didn't want people to watch their bikes breaking and letting the guys down.
