WOW what a vachana sthavarakalivuntu jangamakalivilla :)

Beautiful rendering of my favorite raga madhuvanti

Amazing raag madhuvnti though not satisfied with the sahitya chosen but the presentation of the raag is beautiful and simple.

Yes, agreed, Nachiketa is one of those singers who can make heads turn and people stop in their tracks when he sings. His swar-shuddhata is near perfect, his hold on ragas very strong, and combined with his awe-inspiring voice, he's extraordinary - any connoisseur of ICM would quickly recognize that. To appreciate that, one must have an ear for ICM...

That being said he is one of the best singers that I have heard for sometime. I guess your idea is if you don't have a tanpura then you cannot sing, but you need to know whether you have a physical or electronic tanpura both of them keep track of the shruthi, so that has nothing to do with his ability to sing in tune. One the highlights of his singing is his VOICE, people turn around when they hear him sing. We would have published your comment if it was not personal.

Dear Gopeshgaur,
Thanks for taking time to go through the video. First and foremost Sri. Nachiketa is one of the Classical singers who does not have to rely on the music to earn a living, he is a senior executive at a MNC and for him music is a passion. So let us be be very clear here, he is not in to earn money from his singing.

Absolutely wonderful, I feel like hearing over and over again. Mr.Sharma is a great artist.

thought so, just being a little diplomatic!!

It seems more of the opposite!! either xmsvb13 is a total stranger to ICM or has no idea of what is being said.
-
for you to make that comment...hmmm, you must be a great Pandit of ICM or...the opposite!!
