I would just like to know your definition of sustainable fisheries ! If your definition is any type of harvesting which has no harmful effects on fish populations and promotes healthy stocks with no bycatch, then my type of gill netting is very sustainable. Fish stocks in my region show no decline, i have no bycatch, including mammals, birds or turtles so is my fishing sustainable in your eyes ? Message me back and tell my your definition of sustainable fishing.

What a great video. Sustainability is the most important issue for the oceans and rivers right now. It's great that you are not only acting at a grass roots level but also providing education which is priceless.
