@Thereisonlythemoment Oliver Reed was a hellraiser, and probably would have been drinking all day every day. So I doubt he'd be drinking especially for this scene.

@chrish12345 A bit of an urban myth that. What actually happened was...
For the nude wrestling, Reed admitted to considering 'a fiddle' in order to enhance his performance. After much deliberation, Reed challenged Bates to “get it out” in order to dispel any differences between the two actor’s cocks. Upon doing so, the pair decided there wasn’t much in it either way and the scene was filmed without 'fluffing'.

It's so well acted - I wonder how they rehearsed it all. And they are both so hot - but today they'd be told to bulk up and get their bodies more cut.

@mikeybill I find it refreshing to see 'normal' men on TV and film. As you say, if this film were being made today, if the scene wasn't cut or changed, they'd have had the actors working out with personal trainers for 6 months beforehand. They talk about women having self image issues, but its as bad for men these days.
