Note to my viewers! I say "masticating" in this video and meant to say "non-masticating" - just FYI I was talking too fast! Centrifugal juicers are the less expensive ones that whip air into the juice, masticating juicers are the ones that slowly chew the food and are a little more.

  • I use a vita mix to make my juice/ veggie smoothies. Is that okay to do?

  • @Tatertot1163 Yes that's great! You can strain the blended veggie pulp through cheesecloth or a nutmilk bag. :)

  • thumbs up!

  • this really helps, thanks!

  • @Muppygirl Hi Muppy girl. (: I'm a raw food eater and juicer and I wanted to let you know you're doing great! Fruits are great for you! Try to add some greens to your morning one if you can and make sure you are drinking a variety of vegetables and fruits! Like she said, adding a lemon to your juice(doesn't need to be every time) adds great nutrients and flavor. It will also help on your juice fast to pull the toxins out of your body.(limes good too) Peace, love and good luck. (:

  • @empressm6 P.S. Congrats on getting your juicer! :)

  • @empressm6 Lol, as is life!

  • @empressm6 - Yes, I can't afford a juicer, but I have a great blender so I use a paint strainer bag to strain the juice by squeezing the heck out of that bag :-). Been mixing some of the pulp with some yogurt and eat it in between breakfast and lunch.

  • @ElizabethNRider thanks for responding. My juicer came today...go figure ^_^

  • @empressm6 You can for sure do it that way. You get way more juice from a juice, but both ways work :)
