Hey guys my neighbor recently got After Effects CS5. I have no idea how he got it before he came out, I assume he pirated it. He actually let me borrow his external hard drive to make this tutorial. Anyway so I wanted to make a huge CS5 tutorial archive for Photoshop. In this video I show you how to remove blemishes, acne, and pimples. The next video will be regarding a custom CS5 feature.

So please, Subscribe, I greatly appreciate it :D

I also tried messing with some filters on my mic, I sound a lot higher pitched, but it makes it easier to understand me so I guess its worth it

Music for my intro/outro (see below)

The song I used was called Waltzing With Shadows. It was made by newgrounds user mobious622.
He approved that I use his large variety of audio as long as credit is given.

Thanks Mobious for letting me use your music. This song's riff kicks some serious ass.

You guys should go check him out, he made this song when he was 16. He has some insane talent and will no doubt come out with more amazing music in the future.

  • What is so important about layers?? What is it for?? (i am a photoshop newbie)

  • @SuperBoi45 I used multiple layers for a before/after comparison. One layer is the old picture and behind the new layer. When I disable the new layer, you can see through to the old layer to see a before/after.

  • you should've used content aware spot healing - that would have been much easier.

  • @UberCuba Actually I tried that before making the tutorial. It works horribly. Content-aware is a nice feature but really the patch tool works so much better in these cases. Content-aware is used to take out SMALL things in images. You cant really take out a person taking up half the photo. Dont go by the demos adobe makes, they had optimized content aware for the particular photos they used in the videos. It really doesn't work all too well. Anyway my next tutorial will be on content aware.

  • Thanks for sharing your story. I can relate, because I suffered with acne as a teen. It was horrible. In the end, I found a holistic process that worked great for me and I tried them all.

What I recommend to others now is Acne No More. The book outlines the approach to diet and nutrition to reduce and remove acne forever without pills, creams or lotions.
