  • Go to softpedia . com ... LINUX section and check out the tutorial entitled "Windows/Linux Symbiosis - Not a Dream Anymore" ... I use this everyday and it's amazing... to use Yahoo Messenger and IE7 on Ubuntu... and of course you can erase your Windows partition if you're not a gamer and you only use some applications.

Try it out and tell your friend about it 'cause it's great!

  • I've written some text in Notepad to show people that can copy/paste it in Kate... and from Kate to Notepad.

But you can do this with other applications also... for example copy text from Internet Explorer to Konqueror or from Microsoft Word to any other Linux application.

    The possibilities are infinite :)

  • Hello mamaieee :)

I have followed your tutorial to the last step where it says:

"Click Finish" -with the disk size set at 8 GB...

I only have 2.7 GB free space left, but my other partition has over 200 GB free space left(Both partitions are on the same harddisk).

    >> Do you know how (In Mandriva 2007 Powerpack) I can move some of the free space from my big partition to the small partition, so that Vmware server can get the 8 GB free space I needs???

    Thanks for your help!

  • i would be great a better quality video, anyway this stuff is great, cant wait to set it up in my fedora partition , maybe i'll erase my windows partition soon if this works nice...

  • Where's the audio track for this clip? All I hear is silence, and the stuff on the screen is too small to read. Some commentary would be helpful.
