Haukeland University Hospital Emergency Clinic Simulation

Our healthcare systems will face many challenges in the next few years. Urbanization, an increasingly older population and planned reorganizations cause changes in demand for health care services. In this video we show you a project that Dynaplan did with Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen, Norway. They are going to rebuild their emergency clinic. But how much capacity should it have to cope with future demand? The Dynaplan Smia simulation model that was developed help the hospital answer such questions.
