Recorded March 24, 2012. A compilation of photos, and video of some of the arrests this day. Six arrests are on this video, in total there were at least 10 arrests for the day.

The march against police brutality, and a call for police commissioner Ray Kelly to resign, or be fired, began at Liberty Plaza a/k/a Zuccotti Park. It wound it way around City Hall, and up Broadway. At the corner of Chambers and Centre St, a bicylist was grabbed, but released.

At Walker St and Lafayette St, 1.15pm, people took to the streets ahead of the police. Two teams tried to unfurl banners made of orange netting similar to the kettling fabric used by police mesh teams. (0:15) Two women, 1 man was arrested at Canal St and Lafayette for unfurling their banner, and then lying down on the ground when caught. At least one other person was arrested after this (not on video).

The march made a detour into Little Italy and Nolita where a several arrests were made. (1:01) One woman was grabbed at Prince St, and Mott St at 1.46pm. It was reported by various sources that she was a minor.

(0:30) One man was grabbed and arrested at Prince St and E. Houston St. at 1.52pm for walking in the street.

(0:58) There was another arrest on the sidewalk, but unclear what happened there. Update: that arrest has been found in this photo http://www.flickr.com/photos/68325156...

(1:12) At Broadway and E 4th St, the march doubled-back in an attempt to shake off the police. One man was arrested on the street, he says his name is Daniel M. he appears in this interview.

While waiting at least 12 min for the arrest van to show up the man complained about his cuffs being too tight, and not being able to feel his hands. The photos show his hands were a bluish color.

Robert Stolarik, photographer, was also on the scene (3:18) and shown on the video being hassled by police (he was the same guy captured on video being harassed by police at the world financial center on Dec 17). Also on scene (8:07), the Direct Action Flâneurs capturing the moment on their Remington typewriters.
