  • Why do some singers songues move with their vibrato? I never understood the connection

  • Explain me,please, what do you want to tell?I didn`t understand the question and couldn`t answer it.Well, maybe it was a ritorical question?))

  • Omg! What an amazing voice!

  • The uvula can go into vibrato-like contractions, so why not the tongue? The entire vocal tract is connected if you look at the glottic configuration of tongue, mouth, throat and larynx, it's all one musical instrument. The tongue is also connected to the hyoid bone and causes the larynx to rise and fall, so maybe the arytenoid and aryepiglottic fold movement may be transmitted to the tongue during critical pitch oscillation.

By the way, she is not good; she is great

  • @sour7lemon haha it's not retorical, it's just a different way to make it, just "vibrating" the tongue

  • i really like his a lot!! i like the way she took her time when it was appropriate, and her trills are sick!!! and her coloraturas were nice! 3:47 was sick!!! no one has done that besides her!!! what a great interpretation! i love the decisions that were made as far as her acting and her embellishments!! i can't say enough about this performance!!! i love how i'm doing this instead of studying for my finals!!! haha

  • Роскошное пиано у этой вокалистки. Просто брависсимо, оч. редко слышу Екатерину.

    GREAT! Bravissimo!

  • Yeah she has a very attractive overall sound and timbre but her French isn't completely correct. Some words are off... either than that, very well trained voice!

  • Da!!!!!!!!!!! Brava!!!!

  • perfect stacatto

  • It think that (after Luciana Serra's, of course) this is one of the best performances of this piece... She makes the staccattos as well and the key change in the "d'amour" is clearly done... I don't care about the "vibrato cum lingua" that she makes, it's acceptable.

  • Now that's some crazy singing! The Doll Song is one of my favorite coloratura pieces, I was thrilled to find such a great version on youtube. Thanks for putting this up!!
