Things that Matter
-------------------
- Doing the Hi-Jump - This is necessary to do the Wrong Warp, or the water will have filled up and it won't work quite the same way. To do this, cartwheel fast into the water as Diddy, swap to Dixie, let go of run and mash jump as fast as you can to ensure you get out of the water fast enough. Then simply get hit where I get hit, and you get sent straight up to another DK barrel.
- The Camera - To do this you preferably want to grab the beetle when it is at the edge of the screen. To make this easier to do, face right when you jump up the platform originally, so the beetle doesn't start walking until you are heading to it.
- The Click-clacks - You need the left one to get the right effect, the right one doesn't work. Knock the left one down, grab it, turn around. Now you need to let go of hold so Dixie starts her throwing animation, but immediately press hold again after you let go of it. The right one should hit you when you are at the furthest back positioning of the throw as possible. If you did it right, you should still be holding the beetle. Run through the other one and you should now be holding nothing.
- The Bonus Barrel -
Jump over the main center and past the continue barrel, falling down the gap afterwards. Hug the right wall, turn left. RIGHT before you enter the bonus barrel below, throw what you have (nothing). The timing isn't that strict, but it won't work if you land after the animation is finished.
Fun fact: If you keep holding the nothing and fall into the barrel without throwing it, it will hang the game for a good 6 or 7 seconds, send you into the bonus, then when you exit the bonus you'll be on top of the ending goal with the ENTIRE level filled up. Weird. Honestly this is probably the easiest wrong warp I've come across to do consistently.
This is apart of a series of 'Wrong Warp' glitches exclusive to version 1.1 DKC 2 games to the best of my knowledge (note that the VC version being sold is 1.1). They may possible in 1.0, but they seem to be a lot more tedious on execution, so you'd need more instruction than I give here. Of the three wrong warps I've successfully worked out this is by far the hardest, due to it involving working with things moving around you, rather than just a set string of movements.
Wow! That's expert!
What a cool glitch.
