  • @vickjoe6851 the decision I made was not to waste my skills in a malevolent industry & Swift did seem to be malevolent.Because of my decisions I've probably seen many more places than you ever will & I took advantage of my opportunites to work in certain fields & acquire certain skills you will never even begin to acquire. Ur only as good as what you know however there are other professions you can't really comepte with now can you LOL! Wait until a depression hits then tell me how ur doing:)

  • @vickjoe6851 just to let you in on somethng, I don't worship big general freight carriers nor do I support a govt that has destroyed the trucking industry & has made it less profitable to work in.DMV does not allow you to use a PO Box for a residence so that is money initially out of one's pocket for maintaining a residence. That combined with cheap pay & an unsteady paycheck makes me wonder how degraded things really are.I wouldn't even pursue a general freight career given the negative future.

  • @vickjoe6851 here might be the real point about all these general freight companies: I think they will all eventually go to Mexico & hire drivers at a lower cost to transport goods into the U.S.

"Mexican truck is first in US under delayed NAFTA program".That is less miles in your pocket or should I say an OTR drivers pocket because it used to be you'd pick up at the border on the U.S. side and transport cargo from Mexico to its final destination in the U.S.Not anymore from the looks of it.

  • @vickjoe6851 in order to have your CDL nowadays you must maintain a physical address. Depending on where you live, starting out as a newbie at Swift doesn't even come close to compensating one for their living expenses and then some. I call that being a slave to the industry. You want to know how much you are making every month and sorry don't believe the averages one bit and they can be very misleading.

  • @vickjoe6851 incompetent? Don't think so. Smart enough to not limit my skills to be a trucker yessiree :) At least I never got anything on my MVR LOL. Clean as a whistle. I just don't have faith in a company that abuses its workforce of whose CEO was investigated for possible SEC violations. Talk about fucking up: It all goes back to the top. To be realistic, you are trusting a company will give you enough miles to live off of each and every month.

  • @vickjoe6851 LOL of course Swift will hire anyone without experience. You can't have all the company drivers with 5 of more years experience. Jesus you'd have a pay crisis if all Swift drivers had real experience. Gotta keep the newbies in place and pay them as cheap as possible to start yes? Hey all this name calling an insulting just doesn't indicate to me that you are truck driver. Further more in conversing with me on You Tube, you really don't have a life outside of trucking do u. SAD.

  • @vickjoe6851 do you have any ideal how many spelling and grammar errors you made in some of you previous comments? And you expect anyone to take you at your word? Laughable. I have all the evidence I need. Class A CDL and old log books. The evidence that I drove lies in Swift HR btw however that is confidential information you are not entitled to. Like we are really going to exchange driver numbers and all that fun stuff. Geez you're an idiot.

  • @vickjoe6851 you have yet to ask a simple question at any company terminal about the history of the company and you seem to want to stick with your false statement about what Swift trucks were once governed at. Frankly I'm saying you are not a Swift driver based on all your negative comments and lack of knowledge about the company. Who says I have to provide evidence. You can't even prove yourself that you drive for Swift so I guess that makes two of us that can't prove jack shit.

  • @vickjoe6851 hey you are the one that denied Swift was ever governed at 60 mph and trucks were governed at 60 mph at one time so it really destroys all points you've made so far about being a Swift driver and I know a lot more about company history. I think I explained a lot about Swift operations in the time and gave out some information one unsuccessful divison on theirs.
