Bernstein also wrote the theme to National Geographic Specials when they were on TV. This is a version of that movie theme song. Search You Tube for the theme to National Geographic. Too bad it's not the theme to the NG Channel.

if you like this then search "background music 2 evangelion" and it has like a western theme to it...and they stole the riff right this....you'll know it when you hear it....its the first video that apears...i love that track too

Elmer Bernstein composed many fine movie themes, but this is not the one which won the Oscar for him...Believe it was for "Thoroughly Modern Millie" that he won his only well-deserved Oscar...
