It was at The Emporium in Coalville. They normally have hard house or trance nights.

  • People seem to be under the impression that all scratch dj's do is scratch.

To the average, simple, uninformed person: yes this sounds just like the original song.

To the more informed, musically experienced person: there are a lot more complexities that are present in this song that are hard to hear with untrained ears. For example, there is a good amount of beat juggling that is going on.

A song doesn't have to be scratched over to be a well-mixed song.

  • Pretty sure they just played the song, if there is any beat juggling I can't hear it, give me an example of where they were beat juggling? I love the scratch perverts don't get me wrong but I'm pretty sure this is just teen spirit with a couple effects chucked in.

  • @kcprb Lol. It's the original playing out. No "complexities" at all. They have just used an fx unit to do things with the song. If you have noticed when the fx are in the whole track is affected. this says its just an fx unit

  • @kcprb: With that said, I doubt this is actually the Perverts. They do scratch and are incredibly skilled and technical in their application of the art of scratching and in their performances of scratch music. This video is the musical equivalent of watching Usain Bolt walking.

  • @kcprb: number 1, if these "musical complexities" are too difficult for the "untrained" ear to discern, then they are obviously missing the point! the point is to rock a crowd, but if nobody "gets it", then it's a waste.

number 2. there were NOT any of those things you mentioned, certainly not any beat juggling. just a couple of glitch edits that were had the exact same timing as the original song.

nothing innovative happening. stop condescending to people.

  • @kcprb No offense to the Perverts because they obviously can do it when they want to, but there's no beat juggling going on here. In fact the only differences I noticed were the beat repeats at 1:13 and 2:25. I have little to no DJ training and I can do repeats like that on my laptop.

  • @kcprb you are so full of yourself it must hurt...

  • @cklarock look at the top comment above yours

  • Whats that one tune by scratch perverts with the reggae in it? fast paced

  • its good, but not the best of the pervs:/

  • @kcprb

I don't know if I'd say a "good amount" of beat juggling, but between background noise and it being recorded on a cell phone or whatever its hard to hear the more subtle things. I like the glitchy filter but it's hard to tell if some of the sounds (which aren't in the original song) are from the dj's or the cameraman or his/her friends, who i assume are all well trashed/spracked.

  • Hello to you 2
