  • Awsome switching!

  • @27526 I work as an rcl operator at Alton and Southern Railroad in east st louis. Im not sure where you get your information, but there is no such restriction. At least not with the Cattron system we use. We bring trains up the main line all the time to switch out our industries.

  • We operate over crossings just like any other train. You have to protect crossings in an RCO zone, maybe that's what you're thinking of. You have to have guys at a crossing during pullback. Otherwise, in non-zone situations regular crossing rules apply.

  • RCOs are not supposed to operate over a crossing. how do they get away with that? its banned per FRA rules.

  • probably that mudhole right at the switch points . rcl's suck

  • What was the cause of this Loco derailing? Was it due to the ACCUSPEED RCL or operator err?

  • Yes gp15 !!!

  • derailment? where

  • J-YARD LOS ANGELES CA.

  • that remote control is crap
