Actually, I don't hate America, I support democracy where each citizen gets a vote and a voice. I'm not erecting a straw man of my opponent's position and hoping for a one-party state based on my beliefs to come about. Maybe you aren't either, but your internet persona doesn't support that. Oh, and I'm not 'nobody', I'm a series of streaming bytes being delivered right to your Apple IIe.

cenk, you hit the nail on the head! you are exactly right about broder and the responsibility for the mess we're in falling on the media in bed w/ the republican dogs. the republicans were handed power on a plate, and they decided that the most important thing was to hold onto that power at all cost. so they bought up the media - making them complicit as well - and made sure that people like broder became stakeholders in the power structure. humpty dumpty had a great fall...
