  • I saw he Magicians in the sixties at a small club in copley square. I think the club was called "Paris" (not positive). I bought their singles "Invitation to Cry" and "Angel on the Corner". I believe they stems from NYC. I also saw the Everly Bros at the same club. Those were the days I'll tell ya I had more spring in my step than I could ever have used! Now I just watch my step LOL

  • Saw the Magicians play at the Unicorn Coffe House in Boston when WBCN was broadcasting part time from their back room. they really epitomized the Blue-eyed soul sound.

  • i loved these guys! i heard them ONCE on a CT college radio station--then there was nothing. i heard the Mammas and the Papas for the first time on that Danbury station, too.

  • @Rogers6StringSongs Ah yes later of Jake and The Family Jewels, I remember him I wound up in the Early 1980's actuall working out next to him at the 23rd street YMCA and talked about the old crazy Village days ofThe 1960's
