Rob Duecaster on Immigration

Gainesville District Supervisors John T. Stirrup (R) has appointed Robert Duecaster to the Prince William County, VA Strategic Goals Task Force for Human Services.

The appointment was the subject of a tense discussion on September 16th, 2008, when the Board was expected to approve it unanimously as is their custom.

The appointment was approved in a split decision 5-3, with one member of the majority saying he would vote to approve the appointment out of respect for Supervisor Stirrup; not for his appointee.

Help Save Manassas Board Member Robert Duecaster is best known for his speech on October 16th, at Citizens' Time at the Prince William County, Virginia Board of County Supervisors.

Duecaster is one of the original drafters of the "Immigration Resolution," a.k.a. The "Rule of Law" Resolution.
