2004 Red Sox World Series Bar Celebration

I recorded this video at Touchdown's (aka Davio's) in Westfield, MA as the Red Sox made the final out in the 2004 World Series and won their first championship in 86 years.

This bar was torn down two years later to make room for a CVS.

My grandfather is the biggest Sox fan there is. He has seen them play in every stadium in the US (except for the yankees stadium, he's too scared) He even got to shake hands with Joe Cronin. He said that the one thing he wanted to see before he died was the red sox become world champs. After they won he got scared that the universe was sending him signs that the end was near.

@Packsuperbowl Since the only way that could happen is if a nuclear world war wiped out every other team in MLB, it probably would be anticlimactic and bitter-sweet.
