Finess:
It all started back in good ol' TC, say around 98', when Travis and Eshawn started the idea of a group and label called Nativ-Touch. I met Eshawn and XL back at a Jam Zone/freestyle competition. From there we took it to a whole new level. We ran into 2-Quikk and checked out his studio where we did our first cut, "This Life." I started to get the feel for keyboards and drum machines and XL started making his beats also with a drum machine and sampler. I got my first keyboard in 99' and we got mixers, mics, burners and all. Our first recordings we're all on tape before CD burners were available. Some Demos are still floating around down there in Tuba or at my ex's house. Some of us came out to Phoenix where I met Entity a.k.a Set trip, Crystilisis-Castro, Abel, and Anthony the voice of southern gospel back in 2002. I remember people coming over to my little home studio in Chandler wanting to learn how to work the beats and flow. Set trip, Jason and Castro dropped their first CD demo there. I remember cats like Brian H from Mayham clique who is now dropping an album soon and my boy K mills who is blessed with rhythm and an ear for music. Most of these cats are now dropping or in the process of dropping albums. Ya'll kept trying and trying harder and discovered your own talent. Now it's just me SWY, some NTR cats, K Mills and Mixed Face who still get down. We still looking for others who got skills and R&B talent....
