So Bush never lied, he was going by the same intelligence Clinton had. Saddam knew his time was going to be up, so the only thing any evil dictator would do is either sell his arsenol and hope to make it out alive or hand them over to Al Qaeda and hope they destroy America with it.

now i like clinton, i like both bush's, now how come people dont talk bad about this like they do on all of bush video's about war and whatnot, how come people dont say clinton is a war criminal? how come people dont say he's a killer, how come people dont call him out like they did with bush? i like both guys and think they both did what they had to do, i kinda wish though that clinton took out saddam so that bush didnt have to do it in 03, does anyone realize that? or is it just me?

@USSSANJACINTO Saddam broke up his stock pile of WMD and scattered it around Iraq. So now Iraq is a WMD junk yard with filled and unfilled chemical shells littering the place and we will probably never find them all.

Clinton also bombed Bin Ladens asprin factory claiming he was producing WMD. After he got the headlines he wanted to keep Monica off the front pages he declined to have Bin Laden arrested claiming lack of evidence.

@joshatkins94 In the 90s, USAF warplanes patrolling Iraqi no-fly zones came under fire by SAMs and anti-aircraft guns from Iraqi troops almost everyday. This is an act of war against the USA. President Clinton ordered cruise missiles strikes on Iraqi command centers in Baghdad on June 1993 in retaliation for an attempted assassination by Saddam secret Agents on former President Bush Sr life while on a visit to Kuwait.

As for "preemptive" strikes, we went in 2003 Iraq under UNSC 1441 and 687.

So during the Clinton era, the media agree with Clinton that Saddam's the bad guy, and it's OK for Clinton to attack Iraq (a classic example will be Bombing of Iraq (December 1998)).
