I imagine you DID win first place! Great job. BTW if you listen to the sample of Hooper's own band playing this chart, they take it considerably slower. I like YOUR tempo better...

Very Impressive. this HS band has the sound of a professional group right down to the soloist work. You guys rock. Keep the flame burning for big band jazz. Congrats to all of you for being able to participate in such a great program!
