Great place to live, but when you are out of work can be hard local people, refused planning permission One new house equals Five people being employed for a period of eight months From the person who draws up the plans the person who dig the site the blocklayer the plasterer the plumber the electrician the painter the carpenter the gardener to the shops that supply the materials to all of these people 200 out of work in the trade

I understand where you`re coming from. But I live in place where the natural beauty of the area has been greatly despoiled by development over the last 4 decades. It was unavoidable due to the popularity of the area. But just the I have seen old photos of the land and heard the lament of the people that were born and grew up here. Once lost it will never be returned. So perhaps you can understand the concern of some people who oppose such development.
