this is not about me, it's about you...

this is the first in a series of questions which encourages a mind's exploration of its own working... it is not so much a philosophical definition that is sought, but a subjectively accurate appraisal


the west has less history in respecting wisdom in comparison to the east which might go some way to account for the current condition of the world...

feedforward is designed to hit the 1 minute mark... feel free to post a response, in particular video responses...

After viewing this a couple times, it is fairly profound.

I guess the real question is, "What is 'wisdom'?"

The whole frog thing reminds me of a quote from the movie "Naked" by Mike Leigh: [paraphrasing] "Did the frog have any conception that he would one day evolve into a human being? Of course he fucking didn't!" ... The obvious implication being, can WE have any implication of what we might ultimately evolve into?

Pretty good :) To me, its more about applying wisdom to your thoughts before you speak/act. Reflecting rather than projecting. Nice video ;)

Wow, this is pretty fucking cool. =) To me, this means not pushing foreign ideas or beliefs upon one, rather relating to them and explaining, in a context that they can relate, your own thoughts...maybe. =)
