@blackrogueheart but think about it: if an anime end all happy and nice, you will watch it and it's finished. like this, you'll remember it for a reaaaaally long time. personally i prefer such endings, it gives you space to think about what could happen and you defenetly wont forget about it. i think, that an anime with such an ending is much better than one without. even thought its so sad. no, because its sad. and its not all bad, if mokkun had died, it would have sucked :P

i had watched the whole anime already..
it was very nice and touching...
i watch until i cried in the end...
so sad that mokun cannot remember masashiro...
after all the hard times they had been through...it is quite sad that it wasn't a good ending though...that's why i cry...
very touching...it is the best anime i've watched...

Why is it that all the best anime have the saddest endings? DN Angel, Shounen Onmyouji,Gravitation...it sucks that they end sadly. They need to make a sequel to this!
