  • ARE THOSE PEARLS ELIMINATORS?

  • Most people seem to forget that Francesco only plays drums for 2 years. How long do the drummers mentioned here play this instrument? A LOT longer. Give Francesco some time to mature and he will kick EVERY drummers butt. And without even dropping a sweat :D

  • @TheJuanfut99 because he is using heel-toe technique for his fast parts. looks like you kick once, but the beater hits twice each foot.

  • 1.58 smoke from double bass...

  • Why does it look like he's not as fast with his foot??

  • @zjzbacni Joey Jordison too, mate)

  • @RutboyNiles Travis is definitely good for what he does, but that's about as far as he goes IMO. I wouldn't even call Francesco Paoli a good drummer, he's fast and that's about it. He has also only been playing for like 4-5 years or some shit.. Anyways, most drummers in the Tech-Death/Progressive Metal genres would drum Travis Barker into the ground and then proceed to bury him.

  • So, does or doesn't he use triggers?

  • @zjzbacni I would love to see this trigger-using tapping guy trying to play Travis's powerful grooves. I can't even hear his snare strokes on the Blastbeats.

Actually Travis Barker is quite a good (though not perfect) drummer, definitely more versatile than 99% of the drummers here putting him down.

Being a good drummer is not just about fast single strokes and doublestrokes...
