Nice !!! Great Pilot !

Nice "strike" on finale and perfect tuchdown.
This kind of pilot skills never stops impressing me.

I am not an airline pilot (wished I were) but,.. I could be wrong here but I always believed that the 757 is one of those flexible narrow, wide-bodied jets (dual Isle) that airelines will use on low-medium haul routes in order to take more passengers, based on the popularity of the destination.
There seems to be different schools of thought with this approach and landing but if the airline makes a profit on this route, they'll send a 757 over, say a 737 with a pair of GREAT pilots
-
Well, I am an airline-pilot as well, congratulations.
And this airline you are so convinced of sends its aircraft to airfields, where a go-around of a 757 in VMC could result in a catastrophe???
I wouldn´t call that "great" but "gambling with lives".
So keep doing what your airline, whatever it may be, is telling you.
Guess, why LH e.g does not sent a A306 to "EGLC" (london city airport).
Cause it is inacceptable, even it may be possible.
That divides the good from the other airlines.

I do know that because I am a pilot, and a particular airport, as toncontin if you do not approach low, then u will be in the mountain, because u will miss the runway. The PILOT didnt get himself into this situation he is just doing as he was instructed by his airline, and a go around could result in a disastrous situation because if u were observant enough to see the BIG FRICKIN MOUNTAIN at the end of the runway and if these pilots suck as much as u say, that could result in a collision

Well- a great pilot never brings him/herself into a situation, where he needs his great skills.
As you say, good touchdown.
Did you know, that terrain clearance is vital for a safe operation? Obviously not. So tell me: Why do almost ALL airlines prohibit to fall below approach-proifile, when it is not safety-relevant, as you seem to believe?
And why the hell sould a go-around lead to a "disasterous" situation, when it is an all-day standard-procedure at all good airlines?
-
Actually good pilots is an understatement, more like great pilots. 1. the landing distance in Toncontin is over 7000 ft, witch is plenty for a 757. The landing was a bit short, but givin that a go around could result in a disastrous situation, the landing was completely orthodox. It is not an easy thing to bring a jet airliner on a 45 degree turn to final on a shorter then average strip, with crosswinds terrain, and 160 people on bored. GOOD PILOTS

no pues que buena publicidad les haces amigo hondureño...hum pues no pareces hondureño si hablas asi de su principal aeropuerto

Good Pilots?
Tell me: Was the Landing-Distance-Required within available RWY-length???
I doubt that!
Shitty Airline to send a 757 to this short airfield.
Even the touchdown ( that was absolutely necessary) was illegal.

es cierto yo soy de Honduras cada vez que se aterriza en ese aeropuerto se aplaude pero ojo solo en ese aeropurto aconsejo que si viajan a honduras que hagan escala en san pedro sula.
Is that a commercial flight? Very dangerous!

Yes. A commercial flight, like everyday in Tegucigalpa. This is the correct and the only manner to land on this airport.
