James Lovelock (born 26 July 1919 - died 13 March 2015) was an independent scientist, environmentalist and futurologist from England. He is best known for proposing the Gaia hypothesis, which postulates that the biosphere is a self-regulating entity with the capacity to keep our planet healthy by controlling the chemical and physical environment.
May his spirit rest in peace forever.

iam not a religious person. I thought about the posebility of "Gaia theory", withou any knowledge about it is excisting. I started my thinkin rocess with a Game ( Final Fantasy 7) later with the Movie (Final Fantasy : Spirits within). a. It sounds logical b. it sounds beatiful, we are all a part of that big thing. Noneed a sacrifiing Messiah. Or an allmighty God with endless goodness who let ppl die in Africa. All relgions i've heard dont sounds true to me. This is the only thing i can handle.

@PriestChristopher it wasnt just the Greeks, it was also the egyptians, who called the earth Geb. and african tribes before Kemet also worshiped spirits of the earth.
