Then again if one lives aboard chances that he / she doesn't go out and sail much : dishwashing done, laundry dried, books secured, TV fastened, kids toys in their boxes … and it's too late for the afternoon outing …
I'm talking of a family boat … a "village boat" and the thing will be stranded for ever in the same spot !…

yeah I agree its excessive, this is a boat for a village not an individual or two, be surprised if they even live on it.
