Sorry guys! I haven't been uploading more stories...school sort of gets in the way. Enjoy! I'll try my best to write more, but midterms are next week! :L

"First day of summer. Always makes me think of the last day of summer when I'll be sad to go back to school."
Rachel laughed at Finn's statement. The two were at Finn's house, sitting on the couch. Finn's Mom was having a garage sale and Rachel had come over to help. "Well at least you still have two full months before that day and you get to spend all of it with me."
"That's if I don't decide to ditch you in the middle of it."
"Like you would DARE." Rachel laughed and leaned in to give Finn a kiss but the two quickly straightened out themselves when Carole walked into the room.
"Rachel, thank you so much for coming over to help today. I know it isn't the most ideal way to start your summer but, I was cleaning out the attic and garage yesterday and needed a hand selling some of the stuff. Most of it is Finn's old toys, but I have some stuff I don't need either."
"I'm glad to help, Mrs. Hudson. I didn't really have anything planned for today. My dads are away for the weekend and I would've been alone anyways."
"Okay then," Carole smiled, "Finn, would you like to set up the tables outside? You can start selling your stuff, a lot of kids are coming today, I heard. And if you don't mind, Rachel, would you please help Finn? I'll take care of my own items since I don't have a lot."
Carole walked out to the garage and left Rachel and Finn behind. Rachel took Finn's hand and they joined Carole. The boxes were in the back, so Rachel helped carry some of them to the tables that Finn was setting up. Being the gentleman that he was, Finn quickly set up the tables to help Rachel with the heavy boxes. During the morning, a lot of adults came and most of them, like Carole had mentioned, had along with them children who wanted to buy Finn's toys. They mostly picked out the action figures and cars, but some of the girls who came with their brothers also bought most of the leftovers. By the beginning of the afternoon, Finn had successfully sold his last toy thanks to the help of Rachel.
"Well you guys seem to be more successful than I was." Carole's stand still had some left over clothes and jewelry, but she had sold a lot too. "Thank you both so much for all the help, especially you, Rachel."
"Don't mention it. It was fun, a perfect activity for the summer."
When all the stuff was put away again, Finn and Rachel had begun discussing where their next destination would be.
"Do you have anything in mind? Anywhere you're dying to go?" Rachel had no idea. She thought that maybe Finn would know.
"I thought you had somewhere you wanted to go."
"I did."
"Then where is it?"
"It's a surprise. You'll see when we get there."
The day was extremely hot. The sun was pounding rays onto the children of the earth below. By the time Finn stopped, both of them were sweaty. Finn had taken Rachel to the park which was empty due to the heat wave. They had stopped near a gigantic fountain. It was one of those elegant ones with the nozzles at the bottom and where the water flowed over the edges and drain out on the outside so that people wouldn't sit on them. Suddenly, Finn cupped a handful of water and splashed Rachel with it. Shocked, Rachel stood there for a second. Then she smile slyly, and also splashed Finn with some of the water. They laughed and Finn tried to drag Rachel into the fountain. He was able to get her in, but she pulled him in as well and Rachel fell on top of Finn, soaking wet. They splashed more water at each other, continuing to drench each other, laughing and screaming the whole time. Then, with his mighty arms, Finn pulled Rachel into a tight hug, leaving her wriggling, laughing and screeching. And he kissed her, right then and there and at the same exact moment, the fountain sprayed water which fell back down as mist over the two. They marveled at the beauty for a moment, but only for a split second, because the man maintaining the park had noticed them. Rachel stared at Finn, shocked, as if asking him what to do, and the two ran, laughing as the groundskeeper stopped to catch his breath.
First day of summer; well spent.
