finally something valuable I can listen too while doing my unloved retouching work after shooting. thank you very much for the effort you put in this. very much appreciated.
what do you use when you shoot film (favorite camera / lens combo, brand etc etc etc). I am trying to start shooting in film (never have, all digital), primarily for my own personal work while I'll remain digital for my commercial projects.
It's SO refreshing to hear someone talk about aesthetics, motivation, 'seeing,' etc. for a change. (Instead of the usual blather about megapickles, HDR, software, L glass, and all the other crap you quite rightly label as 'distractions.')
5 minutes of such creative discussion would be nice. Over an hour is, frankly, amazing. Please keep up the good work!

Will you put up some notes perhaps listing the photographers you mentioned, if they have websites etc?
Great lesson on the non technical aspects of photography - which is what I struggle with the most. Thanks! looking forward to the rest.
