I dont know why we hold on strictly to whatever is told to us by our conventional Maulanas. i think we should do research ourselves, read Holy Quran,Sahee aHadees and then make a decision. i heard a famous Maulana saying in the program ' Alim Online' that blood transfusion is haraam though we al know it is life saving.i think, they just pass on the knowledge to the next generations which they get from their teachers and scholars without themselves pondering over the issue...

@silence522 You are right that a Muslim woman is allowed to marry a man from another religion only if he converts to Islam, which means he is a muslim. But a Muslim man is allowed to marry a christian or a jewish women and she does not have to convert to Islam and there are several reasons behind this.

@pranavkumarmohanty marriage is the least thing to do on my list i don't give it any priority and i have read the holy quran which emphasizes on women hejab strictly, do you even know what the holy quran says regarding the rights of the women in islam?
