Rupert was an amazing horse. More than that, he was a legend, in the town of Hawick Scotland. Owned by local art teacher Judith Murray for over 30 years, Rupert passed away in 2007. This is a song for Rupert. Or rather "from" Rupert.
Written and performed by Hawick's Alan Brydon.
I just was introduced to this song and video. Rupert was a beautiful horse. You can tell he had a beautiful spirit just from his eyes. I hope my beloved pets are jumping clouds with Rupert.

So few people look on a horse as a member of the family anymore, and trade them off like a car or something. Great video.
