Gov. Bobby Jindal said this morning that his top legislative priorities for the coming week are passing a bill that lets money from an economic-development fund be used to support a North Louisiana chicken plant, and defeating legislation that would clear the way for Louisiana to accept $98 million in new federal financing for unemployment benefits.

Jindal gives 50 million to a private chicken plant and 85 million to the Saints.

But does not want the people of louisiana to get a dime.

What a class A tool. Obviously, he has no idea of what being penniless feels like. Hows this for a plan, he goes without a salary and exists on a cup of cooked pasta every day for the rest of his term. What a f%$%$@#%%^ing idiot. He should be impeached. To the simple-minded this is a no brainer, but Jindal rejected the money because it was bait for a trap. There were strings attached that would have cost La. far more in the future. The fact is that La. is the only state that has actually added jobs since the recession began. Businesses are rushing to invest in La. and Jindal has a 77% approval rating with his constituents.

This is an example of biased reporting. Jindal responsibly refused the money because there were provisions stating that by accepting the funds, Louisian would require the state to have a tax increase later, and because the Fed Govt would make Louisiana change its rules for qualifying for unemployment compensation.

@marceads Yes he is dumb for he is only a Doctor or MD and you know how dumb they are. He dids some other dumb thing like cut out $250 Million in kick back money to Louisiana Representiatives and they got upset. Now you don't have to have a Representative to let you bid on Louisiana government contracts now. They accept bids from small and big contractors with no House representatives Permission to bid on jobs.
