This video demonstrates how you can not only heal yourself but also repair your armor by using artifacts and hazards. In this specific example I am using Battery artifacts (protection against burn) and a fire barrel. The trick is that if you wear artifacts that in total provide more than 100% in protection, you will actually heal wounds and get your armor repaired if you walk into the hazard that the artifacts protect you against. As you can see in the video, I need to use four artifacts that accumulate to a 120% protection against burn; the hazard is the fire barrel, but the Burner anomaly would also have worked just fine. Please notice that it does take a while for the armor to repair - the higher protection against the hazard the armor has, the slower the repair process will be.
This tip also works with other artifacts and anomalies:

The other type of Battery artifacts and the Electro anomaly
Pellicle artifacts and the Fruit Punch anomaly
Spring artifacts and the Springboard anomaly

  • This isn't a bug people, this is logic, christ.

If you have protection over 100% what do you think will happen? this of course!

I don't know the name of the artifact but I do know it gives you 30% fire protection, that means 4 x 30% = 120%, 100% protection from fire and that extra 20 means your armor and health increases after long exposure.

    Pure third grade logic, people.

  • It's quite logical, if fire does 1 (of 10hp) damage, then if you have 50% anti fire, the fire does 0.5 damage, if you have 100% anti fire (by shell artifacts) fire does 0 damage, so nothing happens. If you have above 100% anti fire, like 150% anti firem the fire does -0,5 damage, so it actually increases you health.

  • @VaginalTumor

    ok

    thanks

  • @elcuitlayo16 the higher the set difficulty, the more artifacts you can find. you find them by questing, going outside of regular ways, looking at stashes (use your pda), near by anomalies, etc...

  • How can I find the artifacts?

I'm looking for them in the game but I can't find them...

  • hwhere can you finds those artifacts?

  • lol using the 4 pack artifact for repair is an essential thing when going into the worlderness with a bomb shell of ammo. you can be out there for days and not worry about your armor going to hell and using health artifacts to not starve.

  • Them artifacts that make you do that is tough to get

  • only in the zone ,only in the zone.....

  • @LGbat SEVA-Suit
