Back to my Hempster Roots - Soon after reading Jack's book, I attended my first Cannabis rally, sponsored by Friends of Hemp in Sept 1992 near Asheville, NC; Music by Ras Alan and the Lions from Zionville, NC. I met the first national level marijuana law reform activist that night - Eric Sterling of the Criminal Justice Policy Foundation. He had been involved in drafting drug laws in 1980s, then listened to his conscience and became a reformer.
Other video is from my second hemp ralley with NC Hemp in 1995 - Gordan, Dan, Bonnie and I walked out to smoke a peace pipe, got busted and became the Asheville 4.
Also, the rustic fellow with the eggs is my cousin Freddie, who first encouraged me to use my video for marijuana activism. We used the wheat grass as symbol for the healing herb.
