Nutrition for the needy

Nearly two billion adults worldwide are either overweight or obese, and studies show that the issue is most common among those with the lowest incomes. Organizations that assist needy populations, like Bread for the City in Washington, D.C., are beginning to tackle the ironic link between hunger and obesity through cooking classes for its clients.

Good video! I'm not an obama fan ,but dont forget who really makes the bills here. The president has a lot of pull,but congress writes the bills. He either stamps veto and sends it back or signs it. So when you vote remember the president just says yes or no. Your congressman or women writes the laws you want or dont want.

A person or leader can ALWAYS claim that there were problems before they came into power and it would be true, but those scum bags never hesitate to take credit for good news, so I say let them take the bad with the good. (what little good news there is these days after the Clinton and Bush debacles.) I say let the buck stop with them, which is what Harry S. Truman used to prominently feature on his desk in the White House: "The buck stops here"

I agree with the vid about there being home economics back in the class start teaching healthy eating at a young age and it will stick. I think they should have this organization in more cities all over the country.
