@StoptheVerse Haha, this is what my wife said after watching 2 episodes of the show. "Why would i want to watch a show that's all about bad things happening to good people?" I try to explain it to her, but she's just not interested.

@AWickedMind I agree. Also, the characters in the LOTR books weren't half as developed and complex as they were in the movies. Some scenes weren't half as emotional and significant. Plus, Tolkien had a terrible inability of portraying women.
