In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

  • @historyteachers Hah! Poor Mary! But your necklace, hat, dress, flounce, hiding behind pillars, facial expressions, and dance moves... WOW! ... and Mr.H's AWESOME RAP! ... WOW^2! You did her proud! And it's one of my favourites! Although, 40 some favourites is more music than my 56 year old brain can hold. WHEN ARE SOME NEW ONES COMING?????

  • @firepyro2 Hi, please check out the entire song on our channel. We sing about her whole life, and how she was from Scotland (not England)...but how some claimed she was the rightful ruler of England rather than Elizabeth I.

  • @3:14

You dare say that a SCOTTISH PERSON IS FROM ENGLAND!!!!!

    Shame on you

  • An amazing presentation. Thank you for speaking, and thank you for your videos and songs.

  • Sadly the video crashes at "...a divorce. She promised Henry a male heir..." Something wrong with the TEDx feed..... Dec 08, 2011, 2am.

  • @historyteachers Oh, yeah: Even though I had nothing to do with any of the TEDx Success, for some odd reason, I am ungodly proud of You & Mr.H. And I KNOW I am not the only one! So all you fellow Real & Virtual students: Speak up! Tell the Teacherz if they did good (or not). Won't be any "nots", Gordian or otherwise!

  • @historyteachers I loved the whole thing. There seem to be 2 versions: One with, and one wi/out "The Curtsy Heard Around the World**"... The only thing is that their putting in ALL of Henry 8, (wi/out ANY Beowulf !) was just too much. Even 5 of Henry's wives said the same thing in a Seance the other day! Either the TEDx editor fell asleep, or wanted some "filler". Unless you have a closet Henry/Abba freak! [** Unashamedly stolen from US History!] Either way:You did REAL GOOD! Thanks!

  • Great Job, thank you for sharing and inspiring

  • @historyteachers Thank you for your history videos.History has now become a favorite subject with the kids. They want to find out more and are even trying to do their own history match ups with their favorite songs.

  • YAYYYY!! yeah, mrs. burvall! :D
