This is the second person Troy Burnett has killed. The department refuses to remove Troy Burnett from the force and district attorney Dee Smith deemed this shooting justified.

I am going to be 25 this year and I live in one of the most dangerous cities in the country, Chicago. In my many years here only one type of person has ever repeatedly endangered my life, I had heroin planted on me and two months later after they impounded my car, I was almost shot to death while riding the train home from work by ten officers with AR-15's looking for the wrong suspect. @ricknelms like Siesiek123 said, he shot at him because he came out to the officer in a combative nature with a golf club, not cold blood, and even though they knew the dealer wasn't there, does not make it a safe area to just walk into

@siesiek123 your right it was defensive. its true the drug dealer (his roommate) was not there at that time, and they knew that. however that does not make it safe so its still right to do a raid, and the guy jumped out of the hall way with a golf club and entered a combative position towards the officer, so yes defensive.

@pyrotecky9 you can view this video and honestly say it was for no reason.... really ? the dude jumped out of the hallway in a combative position with a raised what appeared to be a bladed weapon but turned out to be a Golf club which is a deadly weapon to hit at the officer while they were yelling announcing that they are the police.... He cause himself to get shot, shouldn't have been a fool
